BUYING A QUEST

To choose your quest, click the PLAY button and select the city you’re interested in

You’ll see a list of all quests available in that city. Feel free to read the description of each one

Pick any quest you like and click PLAY again

You’ll be taken to the purchase page

Select the number of devices (smartphones or tablets):

• the number of devices determines how many activation codes you’ll receive

• the number of devices depends of the number of participants playing with you

• 1 device works well for 1–2 players

• for 3–4 players, it’s best to select 2 devices and so on

• you’ll receive a discount for each additional device

Enter your name and your email carefully and without mistakes

Check the box confirming “I agree to the processing of personal data”

Click PAY

After payment, an eight-digit activation code (or several, depending on the number of devices) will appear on your screen

A confirmation email with the same activation code(s) will also be sent to your inbox

ACTIVATING YOUR QUEST

Each quest description includes the exact starting point (address) of the route

Once you arrive at the starting point, activate your eight-digit code received by email:

• copy the activation code from your email

• paste it into the field “Already have a code?”

• press the yellow PLAY button next to the field

• the system will ask you to confirm that you are at the quest’s starting point — please confirm

• the system will ask for permission to allow the SnoopCity website to access your location — please allow it

Your quest is now activated and your adventure begins!

From here, simply follow the instructions on your screen

IMPORTANT

• You’ll need a smartphone or tablet with a fully charged battery and a pair of headphones (You can read the tasks on the screen, but it’s much more convenient to use the audio narration)

• Your device must have mobile data access (not WiFi)

• Each activation code is one-time use and works on one device

• We recommend to have a portable power bank in case your device battery runs low

• If your battery dies, you can enter the same code on another device

• The quest will resume from the point where you left off on the previous device

• There is no time limit — you can pause anytime for a break, coffee, lunch, or to visit a landmark, and then return to the route whenever you’re ready
